Giving back

There are so many reasons and ways to make a difference. Pick a purpose, a cause and/or group that aligns with your values and ideals.  Donate, volunteer, support these endeavors with your money. Do something, anything. Everything matters. 

We support Books for Jails, which seeks donations of books for inmates in Los Angeles County Jails.  For more information on their mission, go to their website. We encourage you to donate your old books to this great cause. 

Facebook is a great place to find people who can give your unused / no longer needed items a new life, AND keep them out of the landfill.  We buy, sell and donate on this platform, including items used to create some of my art.

We love animals! Please consider supporting a local animal rescue. There are so many to choose from—those that rescue and rehabilitate wildlife, farm animals, and work with dogs and/or cats or specific breeds.  We support Valley Cats, whose mission it is to find forever homes for cats and kittens. This organization was founded by my mom, and continues on in her memory.  To donate or arrange to meet a new furry family member, visit their website.
